Rodeo competes at Elko, Alamo rodeos

Alamo

The Fallon High School Rodeo Club participated in the Alamo Rodeo at the end of October.

The junior high school had Tayler Felton placing fourth and Grace Felton placing eighth in the Barrel Racing. Grace Felton also placed third in the Breakaway and eighth in Goat Tying while Chloe Lambert placed first and Tayler Felton placed 10th.

In the Pole Bending Tayler Felton placed first and Grace Felton placed third. In the Boys Goat Tying Triton Desmond placed fourth and in the Team Roping Tayler and Grace Felton placed first while Jayden Jensen placed second with partner Cade Bell (Humboldt County).

On Sunday Grace Felton placed sixth in Barrels and won the Breakaway while Jensen places fourth and Tayler Felton placed sixth. In the Goat Tying Lambert placed second, Grace Felton placed sixth and Tayler Felton placed eighth. In the Poles Tayler Felton placed first, Lambert placed second, Jensen placed ninth, and Grace Felton placed 10th.

On Saturday the High school Sam Goings took third in the Steer Wrestling and Tie-down Roping and Cord Hendrix placed second. In the Breakaway Roping Leighton Beyer placed fifth while Jessica Gomes placed ninth. In the Goat Tying Beyer placed seventh and she also placed fifth in the Barrel Racing. In the Team Roping Cord and Caleb Hendrix placed second and Blain Jensen and Jake Cerini placed sixth. In the Boys Cutting Cord Hendrix placed first while Caleb Hendrix placed fifth. In the Girl Cutting Jessica Gomes placed third and she also placed seventh in the Reined Cow Horse.

On Sunday Cord Hendrix placed second in the Bull Riding and eighth in the Tie-down Roping while Caleb Hendrix places second. In the Breakaway roping Gomes placed ninth and in the Goat Ting Beyer placed sixth. In the Team Roping Jensen and Cerini placed first, Jes Tews placed fourth with Austin Iveson (Wells), Mackay Spyrow placed fifth Jordan Taylor (Moapa), and the Hendrix placed sixth. In the Boys Cutting Cord Hendrix placed first while Caleb Hendrix placed second. In the Girls Cutting Gomes placed third and sixth in the Reined Cow Horse while Cord Hendrix placed fourth.

At the Elko County Junior High and High School Rodeo in October, the Junior High Barrel Racing had Tayler Felton place second and Bethie Ikonen placing ninth. In the Breakaway Roping Jayden Jensen Placed third and in the Goat Tying Chloe Lambert placed first and Bethie Ikonen placed fourth.

In the Pole Bending Lambert placed second, Tayler Felton placed fifth, Jensen placed ninth, and Grace Felton placed 10th. In the Boys Goat Tying Triton Desmond placed third and in the Team Roping Jensen and Cade Bell (Humboldt County) placed first.

On Sunday Ikonen placed seventh and Grace Felton placed 10th, in the Breakaway Lambert placed first and Tayler Felton placed second. Lambert also placed first in the Goat tying and Grace Felton placed sixth. Jensen placed first in the Pole Bending, Tayler Felton placed second, Ikonen placed eighth, and Lambert placed 10th. In the Boys Goat Tying, Desmond placed fifth and second in the Ribbon Roping with Jayce Blake (Independent). Jensen and Bell placed second in the Team Roping.

In the high school on Saturday Sam Goings placed fourth in the Steer Wrestling and won the Tie-Down Roping. Cord Hendrix placed third in the Tie-down Roping and Jake Cerini placed fourth. In the Breakaway Sydney Felton placed eighth and in the Goat Tying Leta Ikonen placed third. In the Barrel Racing Leighton Beyer placed first and in the Team Roping Mackay Spyrow and Jordan Taylor (Moapa) placed third, Sam and Matt Goings placed fourth, Beyer and Alyssa Boyd (Wells) placed eighth, and Jes Tews placed 10th with Austin Iveson. In the Boys Cutting, Cord Hendrix placed second, Caleb Hendrix placed third and Jessica Gomes placed fourth in the Girls Cutting.

On Sunday Cord Hendrix won the Bull Riding and Sam Goings placed fourth in the Steer Wrestling. In the Tie-Down Roping Cord Hendrix placed second, Sam Goings placed third, and Spyrow placed fourth. In the Breakaway Felton placed seventh and in the Barrels Beyer placed second and fourth in the Poles. In the Team Roping Blain Jensen and Cerini placed second, Goings brothers placed third, Tews and Iveson placed fifth and Hendrix brother placed seventh, and Spyrow and Tylor placed ninth. In the Girls Cutting Gomes Placed first and in the Boys Cutting Cord Hendrix placed first and Caleb Hendrix placed sixth.
