On Friday, Dec. 4, Dutch Bros Carson City will donate $1 from every drink sold to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Nevada.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Nevada strives to be an inspiration to local youth by providing programs that enables them to realize their full potential. The club provides a safe and positive environment where youth can go after school, during holidays and on school summer vacations.

Dutch Bros Carson City will donate proceeds from the day, and will also have on-site donation buckets. All collected funds will be donated to the Boys & Girls Club as they continue to provide local youth a safe environment to learn and grow.

“Kids are our future,” said Travis Boersma, Dutch Bros Co-founder. “Investing in our kids and providing hope and a compelling future for them is monumental in my world.”

Locally owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Andy and Jillian Head, Dutch Bros Coffee Carson City opened on May 18, 2007.

Andy and Jillian pour thousands annually into local causes, including Food for Thought, Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Nevada, breast cancer research and the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

In 2012, Dutch Bros Carson City was selected as the Nevada Appeal 2012 Readers’ Choice for best coffee in Carson City.
