The Carson Chamber Singers, directed by Michael Langham, begins its 31st season with a pair of concerts — one at 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, and another at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3 — at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 314 N. Division St.
A highlight of the concerts will be the Requiem by Gabriel Fauré. The program features music of various styles from different times and places, including works by African-American composer William Dawson, Italian composer Niccolo Zingarelli, and others.
Admission is$10 for general admission and free for ages 16 and under. Tickets are at CCSymphony.com; the Carson City Visitors Bureau, 716 N. Carson St.; and at the door. Carson City Symphony flex tickets also will be accepted.
