A seminar about trees and shrubs and what to plant where and when is being offered Nov. 12 in the Sierra Room of the Carson City Community Center.
The event, hosted by the Carson City Shade Tree Council, starts at 8:15 a.m. Registration and a continental breakfast will be at 7:30 a.m. The seminar continues into the afternoon from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. following lunch at 11 a.m. The cost is $45 for anyone signing up by Nov. 2 and $55 at the event. ISA standard Continuing Certification Credits are included in the fee.
