Almost one year to the date, the Fallon Chamber of Commerce, along with other businesses, conducted a successful job fair attended by hundreds of people.
Preparations are underway for the Chamber’s 2015 Fallon Job Fair, which will be held in a little more than two weeks.
Prior to the actual event, Chamber Executive Director Natalie Parrish said she is seeking businesses that are in the process of hiring or will hire individuals to participate in the four-hour fair.
“This fair will also be beneficial for businesses hiring season help,” Parrish added.
The deadline for businesses to contact Parrish and participate in the job fair is Friday. She has established four categories although the Diamond Sponsor has sold out.
Parrish said she has set a two-week deadline for businesses so she has time to promote the job fair and the participating businesses. Along with the Chamber, Parrish said Fallon Auto Mall and Right Away are co-sponsors.
The other sponsorships are Gold ($100), which guarantees a table, large logo on advertising, listed as a participating vendor and choice of location based on first come, first choice; Silver ($50), which assigns a preferred location, lists the vendor and guarantees a table. The Free Vendor provides at no charge space, location and table based on availability.
Parrish said vendors in this category will be notified a week before the Nov. 13 event if space and/or a table is available.
