The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.
TUESDAY
At 10:05 a.m., a 52-year-old transient woman was arrested on suspicion of driver’s license revoked for DUI, no proof of insurance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, violation of bail conditions and violation of suspended sentence after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Nye and Northgate. Bail was set at $7,200.
At 2:16 p.m., a 39-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana after deputies were stopped by a pedestrian about a person who seemed to be in distress at the Evalyn Drive Governor’s Field. At the same incident, a 41-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure, possession of drug paraphernalia and ex-felon failed to register. Upon arrival, deputies saw the two in a vehicle and found the woman asleep with her pants down and the man performing sex acts. Bail for the woman was set at $6,600 and bail for the man, who was also arrested, was $6,650.
At 7:51 p.m. Jason Waugh, 34, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony cruelty to animals after deputies responded to reports of a man kicking and hitting a cat, resulting in death near the Carson Street Round House Inn. Bail was set at $5,000.
At 11:36 p.m., a 46-year-old transient man as arrested on suspicion of trespassing after deputies responded to reports of an unwanted subject at the Long Street NV Energy. Bail was set at $150.
The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
