Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Woman arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking, possession of a controlled substance

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

FRIDAY

At 4:55 a.m., James White, 23, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance after deputies responded to reports of a domestic disturbance near the 1400 block of Carson Street. At the same incident a juvenile also was arrested. Bail for White was set at $2,500.

At 12:05 p.m., an 18-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of battery and disturbance of school after deputies responded to reports of a woman repeatedly punching another student at Carson High School. Bail was set at $1,500.

At 6:26 p.m., a 36-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of trespassing after deputies responded to reports of an unwanted subject near the 3200 block of Wingate Way. Bail was set at $150.

At 6:55 p.m., a 46-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and threats after deputies responded to reports of a combative man at the Casino Fandango. The man was harassing and threatening casino staff members. Bail was set at $650.

At 10:14 p.m., a 22-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of obstructing an officer and driving without a valid license after deputies conducted a stop at the College Parkway Sierra Place Assisted Living. Bail was set at $350.

At 11:53 p.m., a 29-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Highway 50 and Carson Street. Bail was set at $1,000.

SATURDAY

At 4:57 p.m., a 26-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of fictitious registration and suspended driver’s license after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Carson Street and Fairview Drive. Bail was set at $550.

At 9:02 p.m., Carina Ruiz-Mora, 30, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony trafficking 4-14 grams, felony possession of a controlled substance, three counts of violation of bail conditions and drug paraphernalia after deputies conducted a warrant search near the 1200 block of Woodside Drive. Bail was set at $32,500.

At 10:32 p.m., a 47-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense and probation violation after deputies responded to an unknown injury accident at Curry Street and Rhodes. Bail was set at $6,000.

SUNDAY

At 12;39 a.m., a 72-year-old Minden man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense after deputies observed a man run a stop sign near 5th and Stewart streets. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 1:58 a.m., Samantha Slater, 27, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana after observed a group of suspicious subjects near the 3300 block of Imperial Way. Bail was set at $4,100.

At 2:46 a.m., a 25-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery and violation of the Department of Alternative Sentencing after deputies responded to an unknown problem call. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 7:45 a.m., On Tran, 49, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of three counts of felony fugitive from justice after deputies conducted a consensual stop near Carson and Corbett streets. No bail was set.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes.
