Carson City United Latino Community, 1711 N. Roop St., is hosting a free language tutor training workshop from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Friday.
The workshop covers how to teach basic English to adults on a one-to-one basis. Instructional materials and training are provided at no charge. Neither experience nor foreign language skills are necessary, but a commitment of 1-2 hours a week is expected.
