Misfits theater Group putting on ‘Arson and Murder at the Odeon Hall or Dewey Do Time?’ in Dayton

Misfits Theater Group is presenting “Arson and Murder at the Odeon Hall or Dewey Do Time?” on April 22-23 and 29-30 .

Written and directed by Jim Crawford, the play follows a family dispute that resulted in a shooting in 1890. The dispute continued to present-day, when Dewey Cheatum, great-grandson of Willie Cheatum, is part owner of a casino that’s losing money thanks to the success of Ben Pharteen, great-grandson of the person sot in 1890. Ben is kidnapped and his demise is plotted by Little Red Heine. The Ghost and Zombie help capture Little Red Heine and wait for the sheriff.

The production stars Tony Green, Mike Cline, Gail Gundersen, Raphaela Bell, Eddie Hult, Misty Hult, Suzanne Crawford, Brent Kidd and Andra Woolman.

Tickets cost $10. Performances are at Odeon Hall, 65 Pike St., Dayton.
