A single-car rollover 37 miles east of Fallon Thursday morning injured the driver, the sole occupant.

According to Nevada Highway Patrol spokesman Duncan Dauber, the crash occurred at 9:06 a.m. about 4 miles east of the Sheelite Mine Road on U.S. Highway 50 in Dixie Valley.

Upon NHP’s arrival, Dauber said 37-year-old Christopher Mackuliak of Fallon was pinned inside the vehicle. He advised troopers that a woman and child were also involved, but Dauber said that was not the case.

A Care Flight helicopter took Mackuliak to Renown Regional Medical Center with non-threatening injuries. Troopers report that once they were on the scene, Mackuliak was initially in and out of consciousness.

Dauber said the investigation of the rollover is ongoing.
