Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested on suspicion of convicted person with a firearm

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

THURSDAY

At 9:48 a.m., Robert Baker, 51, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony fraudulent use of a credit card warrant after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 2000 block of College Parkway. Bail was set at $10,000.

At 4:50 p.m., a 67-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of civil protective custody after deputies responded to reports of an intoxicated male at the Long Street F.I.S.H. No bail was set.

At 8:18 p.m., a 46-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of trespassing after deputies responded to reports of an unwanted man near the 1900 block of N. Carson Street. Bail was set at $250.

At 11:57 p.m., Todd Paluck, 33, of Mound House was arrested on suspicion of felony convicted person with a firearm and convicted person failed to register after deputies initiated a traffic stop near College Parkway and Retail Drive. At the same incident, a 28-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of two counts of contempt of court. Bail for Paluck was set at $20,150 and bail for the 28-year-old was set at $6,000.

FRIDAY

At 1:42 a.m., a 31-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of civil protective order after deputies responded to reports of an unconscious subject in the back of a taxi near Como and Carson Meadows. No bail was set.

At 5:27 a.m., a 26-year-old Wellington man was arrested on suspicion of violation of a suspended sentence after deputies responded to reports of a petit larceny at the William Street Remedy’s. Bail was set at $1,000.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
