Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested on suspicion of possession of a forgery laboratory, trafficking

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

Carson City

THURSDAY

At 7:56 p.m., Juliana Howell, 37, of Silver Springs was arrested on suspicion of felony trafficking a controlled substance, felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and failure to obey a traffic device after deputies initiated a traffic stop near 5th Street and Marsh Road. Bail was set at $260,050.

FRIDAY

At 10:04 a.m., a 32-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-marijuana after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 110 block of William Street. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 6:57 p.m., Maurice McKinley, 59, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony sell/transport/give drugs and felony possession of greater than one ounce of marijuana at a residence near the 3100 block of Desatoya Drive. Deputies found eight marijuana plants inside the residence. Bail was set at $12,500.

At 9:33 p.m., Felicity Campbell, 23, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony child endangerment and drug paraphernalia after deputies responded to possible drug activity near the 3400 block of Airport Road. At the same incident, Brent Threet, 24, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of felony attempted burglary warrant, felony arrest of a probationer and failure to appear warrant. A 33-year-old Carson City man also was arrested on suspicion of two counts of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana-third offense. Bail for Campbell was set at $3,500, bail for Threet was set at $1,000 and bail for the 33-year-old was set at $3,500.

SATURDAY

At 1:41 a.m., a 31-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Fairview Drive and 5th Street. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 2:06 a.m., Ray Brashears, 31, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a forgery laboratory, possession of a forged instrument, felony use of identification for unlawful purpose, felony forgery of negotiable instrument, felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of less than one ounce of marijuana after deputies responded to an unwanted subject at the Carson Street Casino Fandango. Deputies found credit cards, checks, 8 grams of methamphetamine, 22 grams of marijuana, and fake ID making tools. At the same incident, August Anderson, 45, of South Lake Tahoe was arrested on suspicion of felony trafficking of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of less than one ounce of marijuana. Bail for Brashears was set at $125,100 and bail for Anderson was set at $21,600.

At 5:33 a.m., a 58-year-old Sparks man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense after responded to reports of a man asleep in a vehicle near Carson Street and Arrowhead Drive. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 10:26 a.m., a 23-year-old Dayton woman was arrested on suspicion of violation of an extended protection order after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Long and Molly Streets. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 11:37 a.m., a 41-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of suspended driver’s license, no proof of insurance and expired registration after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 900 block of Long Street. Bail was set at $1,125.

At 4:44 p.m., Jimmy Saunders, 47, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of DUI-third offense and tail lamps required after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 1100 block of William Street. Bail was set at $20,025.

At 6:36 p.m., a 47-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear after deputies responded to reports of a domestic disturbance near the 1900 block of Desert Peach Drive. Bail was set at $1,329.

At 10:20 p.m., a 33-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of two counts of domestic battery and attempted child abuse/neglect/endangerment after deputies responded to reports of a child custody dispute near the 3500 block of Silver Sage Drive. Bail was set at $8,500.

SUNDAY

At 9:27 p.m., a 34-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery-second offense and contempt of court after deputies responded to reports of a domestic battery at the Market Street Walmart. Bail was set at $5,500.

At 11:29 p.m., a 20-year-old Santa Maria, Calif., man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery near Tiger Drive. Bail was set at $3,000.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes.
