Two runs scored on a throwing error, Logan Fencl drew a bases loaded walk to tie the score 7-all and then Simpson laced a full-count pitch into left-center field to end the game.

Fencl, Keller and Simpson collected two hits each to lead Douglas offensively. Tyler Vetter had two hits for Wooster (8-19, 4-14), which has absorbed eight league losses by three runs or less. Two of those losses have been walk-off decisions.
