Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested on suspicion of felony home invasion, felony burglary

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

Carson City

FRIDAY

At 8:13 a.m., Oscar Herrera, 20, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery with a deadly weapon and substantial bodily harm after deputies responded to reports of a woman who had been stabbed the day prior near the 4900 block of Highway 50. Bail was set at $30,000.

At 3:27 p.m., Rafael Casarez, 37, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony probation violation, DUI-drugs, possession of marijuana and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Stewart and 9th Streets. Bail was set at $1,700.

At 8:45 p.m., Michael Mandore, 24, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony home invasion, felony burglary, trespassing, destruction of private property and petit larceny after deputies responded to reports of an unwanted subject near the 100 block of Koontz Lane. Bail was set at $50,900.

At 10 p.m., Elizabeth Lavelle, 19, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, four counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended license and turn signals required after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the North Carson Street AM/PM. Lavelle was later additionally booked for another count of felony possession of a controlled substance after deputies discovered she had hidden methamphetamine inside her person. Bail was set at $9,540.

At 10:29 p.m., Luis Mariscal, 22, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony parole and probation violation after deputies initiated a compliance check near the 3200 block of Banjo Court. No bail was set.

SATURDAY

At 12:39 a.m., a 24-year-old Minden man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Roop Street and Northridge Drive. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 12:45 a.m., Rafael Oseguera-Mendez, 32, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and violation of bail conditions after deputies responded to reports of an unwanted subject near the 600 block of Hot Springs Road. Bail was set at $5,500.

At 2:27 a.m., Alyssa Holmes, 23, of Reno was arrested on suspicion of felony eluding, DUI, hit and run and license suspended after deputies responded to reports of a fight near the Telegraph Street Blue Bull Bar. Holmes tried to flee the scene, nearly hitting a patrol vehicle and crashing into a parked motorcycle before fleeing on foot from deputies back into the Blue Bull. At the same incident, Daniel Cunningham, 27, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony parole and probation violation after. No bail was set for Cunningham and bail for Holmes was set at $22,000.

At 4:42 a.m., a 61-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct after conducted a consensual stop near Carson and 2nd streets. Bail was set at $150.

At 4:48 a.m., a 20-year-old Carson City woman and a 23-year-old Carson City woman were arrested on suspicion of violation of probation after deputies conducted a consensual stop near Stewart and William streets. Bail was set at $3,000 each.

At 4:28 p.m., a 22-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear traffic after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Roop Street and Beverly Drive. Bail was set at $250.

At 4:35 p.m., a 30-year-old South Lake Tahoe man was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, trespassing and drunken pedestrian after deputies responded to reports of an unwanted subject near the 2900 block of Airport Road. Bail was set at $1,775.

SUNDAY

At 12:10 a.m., a Washoe City woman was arrested on suspicion of ex-felon failed to register after deputies responded to reports of a dispute near the 1900 block of N. Carson Street.

At 3:30 p.m., Matthew Scott, 27, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of felony grand larceny and petit larceny after deputies responded to reports of a vehicle theft near the 2600 block of Table Rock Drive. Bail was set at $25,250.

At 10:54 p.m., a 26-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery near the 1600 block of Spooner Drive. Bail was set at $3,000.

MONDAY

At 1:17 a.m., Leonard Stuckey, 36, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony parole and probation violation after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Highway 50 and Lompa Lane. No bail was set.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
