Harry Potter fans will descend on Virginia City High School’s softball field to watch the series, based on the fantasy books by J.K. Rowling, over four weeks.
Storey County Public Library’s Teen Tech Club is presenting Friday evening movies starting with “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” on Aug. 19.
Other showings include “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” on Aug. 26; “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” on Sept. 2; and “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” on Sept. 9.
The movies begin at dark, around 8:30 p.m. Admission is free. Popcorn and soda will be available for sale at a concession stand. Attendees are invited to bring chairs and blankets.
