Carson City Sheriff’s looking for volunteers

The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is looking for volunteers to participate in their Volunteers in Partnership with the Sheriff program.

They’re looking for qualified people to assist in the patrol division, front counter and jail visitation program.

All applicants must be qualified and all candidates will be trained by the Sheriff’s Office. Applicants must be a retired person who can volunteer four to eight hours a week.

To qualify, a volunteer must have a valid Nevada driver’s license, no felony arrest, a background check and must work well with the community.
