Commissioners meet Thursday morning

The Churchill County Commissioners will meet Thursday at 8:15 a.m. at the commission chambers, 155 N. Taylor St.

The following items are up for consideration and/or possible action.


Appointments:

Bill 2016-D, Ordinance 117, an ordinance authorizing and directing the issuance of revenue interim debenture in anticipation of the receipt of certain funds and the issuance and sale of a revenue bond of the county therefore; providing the form, terms, and conditions of the debenture, the security therefore, the sale thereof; and other details in connection therewith.

Recommendation to award Contract for Justice Court security services to G4S Secure Solutions, USA, Benjamin D. Shawcroft, Civil Deputy District Attorney.

Presentation on Community Day 2016;

Community Development Block Grant Annual Program Update and Discussion on Project Priorities for FY18;

First Hearing: FY17 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Round 2 allocation process and public comment to identify projects;

Approval of Sub-Recipient Agreement of Family Resource Center Fund between Churchill County Social Services and Churchill Community Coalition FY17; and

Grant Agreement with State of Nevada, Department of Health and Human Services, Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) for the provision of General Community Action Activities for Churchill County Social Services FY17. 8:45 a.m.

An application for a Sending Site and Transfer of Development Rights calculation for Gary and Lesley Busboom for property located at 5005 Macari Lane, APN: 006-871-13, consisting of 80 acres, with 72 water righted acres in the A-10 land use district;

Michael A. & Claudia C. Casey parcel map for property located at 225 Mason Road (TCID#016-012), APN 009-271-83, consisting of 40 acres of non-water righted property in the A-10 land use district;

Michael A. & Claudia C. Casey parcel map for property located on Mason Road (TCID#016-013), APN: 009-271-82, consisting of 43.44 acres of non-water righted properties in the A-10 land use district.


Old Business:

Proposal to Provide Professional Appraisal Services from Mark Warren for Conservation Easements on various properties owned by Goins (APN: 007-591-08) and Frey Ranch LLC (APN: 006-092-04 and 006-092-06).



New Business:

Request transfer of funds to the City of Fallon for final payment for the Miscellaneous Street maintenance materials, partial payment for the Street Sweeper rental, partial payment for the Kaiser Street sidewalk improvements - Phase I, engineering design and final payment for the Street Name Signage Improvement Project.

Declare certain uncollected property taxes as uncollectable and striking those taxes from the tax rolls.
