Need to do some holiday shopping? Wrap some gifts without the kids? Go to see a movie? Have brunch with your significant other or just sit in silence on the couch? Then bring your kids to Parent’s Time Out, a baby-sitting event from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 17.
Teens from Wild Horse Children’s Theater’s JTF Performance Troupe (and adult supervisors) will watch children for five hours of supervised activities at the Boys and Girls Club of Western Nevada, 1870 Russell Way.
The cost is $25 for the five hours and includes lunch, snacks and games. Price breaks are in place for families with more children: $40 for two children, $60 for three children, and $80 for four children. (Children must be from the same family to receive discount.)
Children must be over the age of 3 (and potty-trained) and up to and including 12 years old. All proceeds will help fund the WHCT Performance Troupe’s trip to the Junior Theater Festival in Sacramento, Calif., in February.
