Man arrested on burglary says Carson City Sheriff’s Office

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

TUESDAY

At 12:46 p.m., a 40-year-old Silver Springs woman was arrested on suspicion of petit larceny after deputies responded to reports of a woman taking items at the Market Street Walmart. Bail was set at $250.

At 2:05 p.m., a 55-year-old Mill Valley, Calif., man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery after deputies responded to reports of a non-injury accident near the College Parkway Maverick Gas Station. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 2:42 p.m., a 29-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of eluding, obstructing, no valid driver’s license and expired plates after deputies responded to reports of a possible kidnapping suspect near the 200 block of Hackmore Way. At the same incident, a 52-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of obstruction. Bail for the 29-year-old was set at $925 and bail for the 52-year-old was set at $300.

At 4:30 p.m., Cody Jeffcoat, 30, of Dayton was arrested on suspicion of felony burglary after deputies responded to reports of a burglary in progress near the 900 block of Telegraph Street Monday. Jeffcoat was arrested Tuesday near the 200 block of Monti Cristo in Dayton. Bail was set at $25,000.

At 7:04 p.m., Derek Fleming, 48, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony fugitive from justice after deputies responded to reports of a domestic dispute near the 200 block of Caroline Street. No bail was set.

WEDNESDAY

At 12:28 a.m., a 26-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court after deputies responded to reports of a possible domestic disturbance near the 1400 block of N. Carson Street. Bail was set at $919.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
