Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested on suspicion of felony parole and probation hold

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

TUESDAY

At 7:50 p.m., Daniel Jacobson, 26, was arrested on suspicion of felony parole and probation hold, violation of a suspended sentence, obstructing an officer and destroying or concealing evidence after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 600 block of Armory Drive. Jacobson led deputies on a foot chase for more than an hour before being apprehended near Idaho Street and Sheffield Street. Bail was set at $5,800.

WEDNESDAY

At 12:08 a.m., a 48-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of suspended driver’s license, suspended registration, obstructed view and failure to appear after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Carson and William streets. Bail was set at $1,575.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
