Area natives make Dean’s List

Two area natives — Olivia Reimer of Carson City and Brandon Pankey of Minden — earned spots on Northwest Nazarene University’s Dean’s List for the fall 2015 semester.

To make the list, students must earn a 3.5 or better grade-point average while taking at least 12 credits at the undergraduate level or six credits at the graduate level. Northwest Nazarene University is in Nampa, Idaho.

Kristen Torvinen, a senior biology major, also earned a spot on the Dean’s List at Hillsdale College in Michigan. Torvinen, a 2012 graduate of Bishop Manogue High School, is the daughter of Mike an Pat Torvinen of Carson City.
