Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Two arrested on possession of a controlled substance, possession of a dangerous weapon

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

THURSDAY

At 8:42 a.m., Michael Roberts, 40, a transient was arrested on suspicion of felony embezzlement of a vehicle less than $3,500 and driving on a suspended driver’s license after deputies initiated a traffic stop at the Fairview Drive Lowes. Bail was set at $10,500.

At 5:12 p.m., a 31-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery near the 1400 block of Rand Avenue. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 6:18 p.m., William Kirst, 33, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana after deputies responded to reports of possible drug activity near the 3300 block of S. Carson Street. Bail was set at $4,100.

At 6:52 p.m., a Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of violation of pretrial conditions after deputies responded to reports of a man walking in the roadway near Telegraph and Elizabeth Streets. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 9:05 p.m., Tyler Keogh, 25, of Reno was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of a dangerous weapon, possession of drug paraphernalia, suspended registration and no insurance after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 1200 block of Woodside Drive. At the same incident, Soleo Allen, 20, of Reno was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail for Keogh was set at $9,150 and bail for Allen was set at $3,500.

FRIDAY

At 1:24 a.m., a 22-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the Telegraph Street Blue Bull Bar. Bail was set at $1,000.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
