Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Multiple arrests on drug-related charges

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

THURSDAY

At 2:08 p.m., Blaze Thomas, 19, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, felony juvenile district court warrant and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies responded to reports of a man with a warrant at Mills Park. At the same incident, Cherrie Lawrence, 19, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail for Thomas was set at $3,500 and bail for Lawrence was set at $3,500.

At 8:12 p.m., a 60-year-old Incline Village man was arrested on suspicion of DUI, basic speed-30 over, red light violation and failure to maintain a lane after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Highway 580 and the Fairview Overpass. Bail was set at $1,315.

At 9:24 p.m., a 41-year-old Minden man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and fictitious registration after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 2800 block of Highway 50.

FRIDAY

At 12:37 a.m., a 57-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and failure to dim headlights after deputies initiated a traffic stop near William and Roop streets. Bail was set at $1,025.

At 2 a.m., a 47-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery, DUI and expired registration after deputies responded to reports of a domestic battery near the William Street Jack in the Box. Bail was set at $4,025.

At 4:32 a.m., a 38-year-old Tempe, Ariz., man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and due care after deputies responded to reports of an accident near Spooner Junction and Highway 395. Bail was set at $1,075.

At 4:43 a.m., Samantha Maccord, 18, of Reno was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a dangerous drug and minor consuming after deputies responded to reports of suspicious circumstances near Carson and Musser streets. At the same incident, an 18-year-old Dayton man was arrested on suspicion of minor consuming. Bail was set at $2,650 for Maccord and $150 for the 18-year-old.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
