Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Woman arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, hit and run

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

FRIDAY

At 4:56 p.m., Kendra Bogard, 32, of Sparks was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and hit and run after deputies responded to reports of a crash near the 900 block of Roop Street. Bail was set at $4,000.

At 10:41 p.m., a 19-year-old Reno man was arrested on suspicion of two counts of minor in possession of alcohol and obstructing an officer after deputies initiated a traffic stop near I-580 and College Parkway. Bail was set at $600.

At 10:56 p.m., Luis Marizcal, 22, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony parole and probation violation after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Long Street and Molly Drive. No bail was set.

At 11:57 p.m., a 43-year-old Cottage Grove, Ore., woman was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery after deputies responded to reports of a fight at the Carson Street Applebee’s. Bail was set at $3,000.

SATURDAY

At 2:09 a.m., a 26-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and expired registration after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Nye and Northgate lanes. Bail was set at $1,025.

At 4:01 p.m., a 27-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of petit larceny and trespassing after deputies responded to reports of a man taking chicken from the Market Street Walmart. Bail was set at $400.

At 4:12 p.m., Kyle Krites, 24, was arrested on suspicion of felony sex offender failed to register after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Goni Road and College Parkway. At the same incident, a 21-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct. Bail for Krites was set at $5,000 and bail for the woman was set at $150.

At 10:35 p.m., a 24-year-old Lake Tahoe woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI, possession of marijuana and failure to maintain lane after deputies initiated a traffic stop near South Carson and Rhodes streets. Bail was set at $1,640.

SUNDAY

At 3 a.m., a 33-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery after deputies responded to reports of an intoxicated subject at the Nugget Casino. No bail was set.

At 2:30 p.m., a 45-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 400 block of Richmond Avenue. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 2:42 p.m., a 38-year-old Las Vegas woman was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear after deputies responded to reports of an unwanted subject near the 6700 block of Saddlehorn Road. Bail was set at $1,100.

At 4:55 p.m., a Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-second offense and hit and run accident after deputies responded to reports of a crash near the 3100 block of Minonee Lane. Bail was set at $3,000.
