Information sought on robbery at O’Reilly Auto Parts in Carson City

The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that occurred Monday night.

Deputies responded to O’Reilly Auto Parts, 1715 North Carson St., around 10:10 p.m. for an armed robbery report. Two men had entered the building and robbed the business at gunpoint.

One suspect was described as a black man approximately 5-feet 8-inches to 5-feet 10-inch with a slim build and was wearing a blue and gray sweatshirt with blue jeans. The second suspect was described as a white male 6-feet 2-inches to 6-feet 4-inches with a stocky build and wearing a light colored shirt and blue jeans.

The suspects left with an undisclosed amount of cash, and left the scene in a dark SUV with large chrome rims.
