Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Three arrested after officers respond to stolen vehicle report

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

Carson City

THURSDAY

At 7:37 p.m., April Carpenter, 39, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription after deputies responded to reports of possible drug activity near the 1800 block of Carson Street. Bail was set at $6,000.

FRIDAY

At 11:29 p.m., a 25-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear traffic warrant after deputies responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle near Fall and David streets. Bail was set at $425.

At 11:46 p.m., a 33-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI-drugs and three counts of child abuse or neglect after deputies responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle near Fall and David streets. Bail was est at $8,500.

SATURDAY

At 2:01 a.m., a Yerington man was arrested on suspicion of battery on a peace officer after deputies responded to reports of an intoxicated subject near the 2900 block of Menlo. Bail was set at $2,500.

At 2:26 a.m., a 33-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and failure to maintain travel lane after deputies initiated a traffic stop near William and State streets. Bail was set at $1,040.

At 12:13 p.m., a 23-year-old Seattle, Wash., man was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct after deputies responded to reports of a domestic disturbance at the Carson Street Round House Inn. Bail was set at $150.

At 5:20 p.m., a 32-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense after deputies responded to reports of an intoxicated subject near the 2400 block of Brookside Way. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 5:22 p.m., Nathan Newkirk, 37, of Reno was arrested on suspicion of felony probation violation after deputies initiated a consensual stop near Carson and 10th Streets. No bail was set.

SUNDAY

At 2:19 p.m., a 60-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of defrauding a cab driver after deputies responded to reports of a woman who was unable to pay cab fair near the 1800 block of Fairview Drive. Bail was set at $200.

At 2:37 p.m., Stephen Theodore, 29, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony grand larceny of a vehicle, possession of burglary tools, possession of less than one ounce of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving without a valid driver’s license, evading and possession of stolen property after deputies responded to reports of a stolen vehicle near the 3200 block of Retail Drive. Deputies located the vehicle and occupants near Lompa and Highway 50. At the same incident, Robyn Clifford, 31, of Reno was arrested on suspicion of felony parole and probation violation and an 18-year-old Sparks man was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail for Theodore was set at $29,800, no bail was set for Clifford and bail for the 18-year-old was set at $1,000.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes.
