Wild Horse Children’s Theater is hosting an awards gala to celebrate productions from its last five seasons. The Wild Horse Pony Awards Gala will be at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, April 23 at the Plaza Hotel and Conference Center.
Pony Awards are the theater group’s equivalent of the Academy Award. Categories include: best actor and best actress in a musical or play; best supporting actor and actress in a musical or play; best up and coming actors; and best features roles. Four “People’s Choice” Awards for best musical, best musical direction, best choreography, and best group also will be awarded. To vote, go to http://www.123contactform.com/form-1852786/Survey.
The evening includes a Mexican buffet dinner, non-alcoholic beverages, dessert, no-host bar, a free photo booth, entertainment and raffle prizes. The Norma and Kyra Conway Scholarship Award will be awarded to a young actor.
