Learn how to teach basic English as a second language to adults at United Latino Community’s free tutor training workshop from 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 14.
Instructional materials and training are provided to tutors at no charge. The only requirement is that volunteers speak, read, and write English. Neither experience nor knowledge of a foreign language are necessary, but a commitment of 1.5-2 hours per week is expected.
