Ronald Dean Lewis, 77, of Lodi CA, passed away November 5th, 2016.


Ron was born February 21st, 1939 in Fallon NV to Ellis and Amelia May Lewis. As the first born of 6 children he was the prankster who taught all his siblings to be on the watch!


As a young adult he served a mission for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Florida mission. He later graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelors degree in accounting and moved to Stockton, CA for employment.


He finally met his life long love, Renee Pickeral, and married her April 13th 1974.


He was a hard worker and achieved his highest potential in all he did. He stuck to the rules of life and the gospel like glue. He was a solid man who you could always count on, and more importantly a man of his word. He was a loving and dedicated father, who taught his children to respect and love all people. As an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, he served in several capacities to include being a bishop.


He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Renee; son, Brian Lewis; daughter, Shannon Anderson and 5 grandchildren; brothers Gary and Bruce Lewis; sisters, Donna Mickelson, Patty Brice and Eunice Stets.


A viewing will be held Saturday, November 12th, 10am at the LDS church located at 1510 W Century Blvd, Lodi, California.


Funeral services will follow at 11:00am . A graveside service will be held Monday, November 14th at 3pm at the Fallon, Nevada Cemetery.
