Enjoy a traditional Christmas performance as David John and the Comstock Cowboys bring their annual “Christmas in the Sierra” show back to Piper’s Opera House in Virginia City on Saturday, Dec. 3.

The performance will include versions of classic Christmas songs, as well as David John’s own originals. Any children in the audience will be invited up to the stage to sing standard carols with David John and the band.

David John and the Comstock Cowboys are dedicating their Dec. 3 show to their friend, Noelle Darwin, who passed away recently after a long illness.

The show begins at 7:30 p.m., and will be opened by the Virginia City Schools choir, comprised of students from Virginia City Middle School and Virginia City High School, performing even more of your holiday favorites.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show begins at 7 p.m. at Piper’s Opera House, 12 North B St. Virginia City. The cost is $25 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under.
