Jensen Redding McDonald, 25 of Fallon, died unnecessarily Wednesday, October 5, 2016. He was born January 3, 1991 in Sparks, NV, to Gloria Frey and David McDonald.


Jensen was a graduate of Churchill County High School. He worked for the City of Fallon, where he was greatly admired and will be sorely missed. Jensen was an awesome athlete who grew up loving, and playing baseball and softball, making it seem effortless. He was also an aspiring pilot and had recently become a baseball coach at CCHS. Jensen was a hard worker and a leader to youth in the community.


He is preceded in death by his father, David James McDonald; grandparents, Edward and Dorothy McDonald; grandfather, Clifford “Skip” Talbot, and uncle, Patrick McDonald.


He is survived by his mother and step-father, Gloria and Jerry Frey of Fallon; his brother, Rhys McDonald of Fallon; his sister, Brooke Pitts and brother-in-law, Leonard Pitts Jr of Gardnerville; step-sisters, Amanda Frey of Arizona and Morgan Frey of Reno; grandmother, Carmen Talbot of Fallon; nieces, Aiyana and Jemmiah Pitts of Gardnerville; nephews, Jeremiah and Wyatt Pitts of Gardnerville, in addition to several close uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.


Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 11:00 am, at the Gardens Funeral Home in Fallon, NV. Burial will follow at the Fallon Cemetery and afterward, a reception will be held at the Nazarene Church in Fallon.


In lieu of flowers, the family is asking to consider making a donation to the Churchill County (Greenwave) High School Baseball Program.
