The International Order of Camel Jockeys, an organization that helps put on the annual camel races in Virginia City, raised more than $3,000 for the Eagle Valley Children’s Home in Carson City. The group organizes a silent auction and raffle and it solicits private donations, all of which are presented annually to EVHC. This year’s donation will be used to buy new furniture for the facility.
