Multiple arrests on drug-related charges during Nevada Day weekend, in today’s Carson City Sheriff’s Office arrest reports

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

FRIDAY

At 8:25 p.m., Chandy Atkins, 35, of Dayton was arrested on suspicion of grand larceny after deputies responded to reports of a woman taking items from the Market Street Walmart. Bail was set at $25,000.

FRIDAY

At 4:13 p.m., a 45-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of possession of burglary tools and possession of marijuana after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Carson and 2nd streets. Bail was set at $3,100.

At 6:30 p.m., Yeltsin Hernandez-Dominguez, 23, of Kings Beach was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia, suspended registration and no valid driver’s license after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 3100 block of Highway 50. At the same incident, Oscar Vazquez, 23, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and permitted unlicensed person to drive and Clarissa Vazquez-Gonzales, 21, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance. Bail for Hernandez-Dominguez was set at $4,650, bail for Vazquez was set at $3,550 and bail for Vazquez-Gonzales was set at $2,500.

At 6:34 p.m., a 52-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of three counts of contempt of court after deputies responded to a man sleeping at the South Carson Street Alderto’s Mexican Restaurant. Bail was set at $1,500.

SATURDAY

At 4:54 a.m., a 25-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after deputies responded to reports of an accident near Long Street and Wendy Lane. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 5:58 a.m. a 19-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of minor consuming and violation of a suspended sentence after deputies responded to reports of a domestic dispute near the 1700 block of Russell Way. Bail was set at $1,150.

At 1:38 p.m., Krystal Over, 31, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of a felony burglary warrant, felony fraudulent use of a credit card, felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies conducted a business check at the Market Street Dotty’s Casino. At the same incident, a 36-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear. Bail for the 31-year-old was set at $14,100 and bail for the 36-year-old was set at $190.

At 3:37 p.m., Serena Dillard, 43, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony trafficking a controlled substance, felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Spear and Division. At the same incident, Robert Dillard, 43, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony trafficking a controlled substance, felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, fictitious plates, seat belt required and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail for Serena was set at $26,000 and bail for Robert was set at $26,090.

At 8:26 p.m., a 55-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery and obstructing a peace officer after deputies responded to reports of a dispute near the 2400 block of N. Carson Street. Bail was set at $3,300.

At 10:08 p.m., a 27-year-old Carson City man and a 30-year-old Carson City man were arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and affray after deputies responded to reports of a fight at the Carson Street Jimmy G’s Cigar Bar. Bail was set at $650 each.

SUNDAY

At 12:35 a.m., Kaymyn Roach, 23, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony fugitive from justice, obstruction and domestic battery warrant after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Fairview Drive and Carson Street. Bail was set at $1,300.

At 12:48 a.m., a 39-year-old Mound House man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and failure to maintain a lane after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Carson Street and Silver Oak Drive. Bail was set at $1,040.

At 4:38 a.m., a 21-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI and headlamps required after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Stewart and Long streets. Bail was set at $1,040.

At 5:24 a.m., Ramon Ortega, 36, of Reno was arrested on suspicion of felony parole violation after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Carson and William Streets. No bail was set.

At 10:15 p.m., a 23-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of parole and probation hold after deputies responded to a child custody dispute near Windridge Drive and Peakwood Way. No bail was set.

MONDAY

At 4:22 a.m., a 34-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery near the 700 block of Silver Oak Drive. Bail was set at $3,000.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes.
