A picnic complete with classical piano music is planned at the next Carson City Natives & Newcomers meeting at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 8 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church on Highway 50 and Saliman Road.
A business meeting will follow. The club will be selling root beer floats and hosting a bake sale at the Carson Mall’s Scarecrow Festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 9. Proceeds go to local charities.
