Central Lyon Youth Connections has been serving Lyon County for a quarter of a century, providing positive youth development, behavioral health services, and prevention programs.
An event offering a free pancake breakfast with Santa and photos by Denise Crites will help celebrate the anniversary milestone.
The event will be from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, at the Dayton Valley Community Center, 170 Pike St., Dayton.
Organizers will be sharing stories and photos of activities from the organization’s 25 years of service. Reservations can be made by leaving a message at 775-246-0320.
Youth Connections has professional social worker staff members in high schools in Lyon County. Known as “Safe Schools Professionals,” they support the development of a safe and respectful, positive school climate while also addressing any potential barriers to academic success.
