Sparks woman arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a credit card says Carson City Sheriff’s Office

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

Carson City

THURSDAY

At 7:36 a.m., Leilani Salter-Arms, 24, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance after deputies responded to an unwanted subject at the Carson Street Nugget Casino. Bail was set at $2,500.

At 12:04 p.m., a 52-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of harassment warrant after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 3400 block of William Street. Bail was set at $250.

At 12:21 p.m., an 18-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana after deputies responded to reports of a juvenile problem near Ash Canyon and Winnie Lane. Bail was set at $2,600.

At 4:38 p.m., a 33-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of probation violation after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 1500 block of Lompa Lane. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 5:31 p.m., a 24-year-old Dayton woman was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear after deputies initiated a traffic stop near William and Minnesota streets. Bail was set at $725.

At 9:11 p.m., Karesa Steepe, 26, of Sparks was arrested on suspicion of felony unlawful possession of a credit card, felony possession of a controlled substance, destruction of property, destruction of evidence, driving without a license and failure to stop at a stop sign after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Robinson and Carson Streets. Bail was set at $14,650.

FRIDAY

At 2:36 a.m., Scott Atkins, 53, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony DUI-third offense after deputies responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle near the 3400 block of S. Carson Street. Bail was set at $20,000.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
