Richard ‘Dick’ Payne was surrounded by his family when he went to be with his sweet Molly May.

Dick was a Marine and fought in the Korean War. For his service in combat he was awarded a Purple Heart.

While on leave Dick met Mollie May and it was love at first sight. They married within weeks after they met, and spent 54 wonderful loving years together.

Dick was a dedicated man with a lifelong love of ranching which led him to raising purebred Beefmaster cattle and Arabian horses.

Always strong and proud, he was a wonderful father to his three sons, Richard (Pam), David (Vicki) and Scott (Sue). Dick is survived by his brother, many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

He will be truly missed.
