The Dayton Senior Center is hosting several fundraisers next month to help feed local seniors.

A pool tournament open to ages 60 and older will benefit March for Meals, a campaign to raise money for Meals on Wheels. The 8-ball tournament at noon March 7 will be at the center, 320 Old Dayton Valley Road.

Entry costs $10 per person. The grand prize includes half of the money raised as well as a new pool cue. Lunch will be served before the event for $2.

The center’s annual spring craft and bake sale fundraiser for Meals on Wheels will be on March 25.

The event offers handmade crafts, a raffle, baked goods, and a thrift store from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. For information, call Stephanie Wolf at 775-246-6210 or Peggy Papp at 775-246-4743.

All proceeds from Bingo Night on March 18 also will benefit the senior meals program.

The event will feature several games including blackout in addition to traditional bingo rounds. Home-baked goods and refreshments will be available for purchase before and during the event.

Prizes include gift certificates and baskets from local businesses. Entry is $10 and includes two bingo cards. Additional cards are $5 each. Doors open at 5:30 and bingo starts at 6 p.m. For information, call 775-246-6210.
