FRIDAY
At 12:05 a.m., a 29-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of trespassing after deputies responded to reports of a prowler near the 100 block of Mountain Street. Bail was set at $150.
At 11:30 a.m., a 38-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of child neglect after deputies conducted a follow up investigation near the 1400 block of N. Carson Street. Bail was set at $2,500.
At 12:48 p.m., a 46-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 3600 block of Highway 50. Bail was set at $500.
At 3:50 p.m., Leah Seward, 41, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription and petit larceny after deputies responded to reports of a woman taking shoes from the Market Street Walmart. Bail was set at $5,250.
At 4:04 p.m., a 29-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI, no valid driver’s license, failure to maintain lane, no proof of insurance and expired registration after deputies responded to reports of an accident near Carson and Washington Streets. Bail was set at $1,765.
At 6:32 p.m., Michael Hylan, 65, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony grand larceny after deputies responded to reports of a man taking items from the William Street Smith’s. Bail was set at $25,000.
At 9:08 p.m., John Bennett, 37, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of stolen property, suspended registration and driving on suspended registration after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Stewart and Adams. Bail was set at $25,550.
At 11:57 p.m., a 52-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of ex-felon failed to register, driving on a suspended license, no proof of insurance and improper registration after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Sunrise and Highway 50. Bail was set at $1,275.
SATURDAY
At 12:39 a.m., Zackariah Dix, 42, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony child neglect and DUI after deputies responded to reports of an intoxicated driver near Goldfield Avenue and Saliman Road. Bail was set at $3,500.
At 1:07 a.m., a 29-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of probation violation after deputies responded to reports of a prowler near the 1800 block of Neptune Court. Bail was set at $3,000.
At 3:12 a.m., a 38-year-old Reno woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI and battery after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Roop and Spear streets. Bail was set at $1,500.
At 4:28 a.m., a 26-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-second offense, driving with a suspended license and failure to stop at a stop sign after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Carson and 7th Streets. Bail was set at $3,050.
At 1:41 p.m., a 35-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery warrant after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 7000 block of Highway 50.
At 3:15 p.m., Erin Mason, 35, of Carson City, and Daniel Hewlett, 26, of Gardnerville, were arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies conducted a warrant service at the William Street Starbucks. Bail was set at $3,500 each.
At 9:28 p.m., a 25-year-old Battle Ground, Wash., man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and driving the wrong way after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Curry and Robinson Streets. At the same incident, Matthew Gentry, 42, of Carson City, was arrested on suspicion of felony probation violation. Bail for the 25-year-old was set at $1,040 and no bail for Gentry was set.
SUNDAY
At 7:44 a.m., a 25-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of Department of Alternative Sentencing violation after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 800 block of N. Carson Street. Bail was set at $3,000.
At 8:47 a.m., a 21-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of two counts of violation of a suspended sentence after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 2700 block of Menlo Drive. Bail was set at $6,000.
The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes.
