Stolen credit cards, drugs recovered after Carson City traffic stop

Four people were arrested Saturday night after deputies discovered several grams of methamphetamine, stolen credit cards and burglary tools in their vehicle.

Christine Racine, 37, of Martinez, Calif.,; Quadair Jones, 25, of Crocket, Calif.,; Noah Wieda, 18, of Montgomery Park, Calif.,; and Joshua Nunez, 30, of Vallejo, Calif., were all arrested on a number of charges after deputies initiated a traffic stop at the William Street Smith’s parking lot Saturday around 11:30 p.m.

Deputies pulled the suspects out of the vehicle after a sergeant allegedly observed a plastic bag of suspected methamphetamine sticking out of Racine’s bra. A female deputy removed the drugs and found 7.1 grams of meth in Racine’s bra along with a glass pipe.

Upon the remaining vehicle and subject searches, deputies found nine stolen credit cards and burglary tools on Jones’ person and items bought with the stolen credit cards from three Home Depot stores in California and Nevada.

Racine was arrested on suspicion of felony trafficking, felony DUI with prior felony DUI conviction, felony obtaining goods under false pretenses, speed, possession of drug paraphernalia and no valid driver’s license with a bail of $61,147. Jones was arrested on suspicion of felony use of another identification to avoid prosecution, felony possession of a credit card of another, possession of burglary tools and conspiracy to obtain money under false pretenses with bail of $17,500. Wieda and Nunez were both charged with conspiracy to obtain money under false pretenses with bail of $2,500 each. The conspiracy charge is a gross misdemeanor, however, officials are planning on charging them with additional felonies related to the case.
