County to discuss public guardianship

The Churchill County Board of Commissioners will meet tomorrow at 1:15 p.m. in the chambers at 155 N. Taylor St.

The commission will consider and take possible action regarding the following:

Update of current activities, plans or actions regarding the Carson City District of the Bureau of Land Management.

Fiscal Year 2016-17 public guardianship program update.

Approval of the emergency solutions grant for FY2018 in the amount of $21,060.

Interlocal agreement between the county and state’s Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Developmental Services, FY2018 contracted services not to exceed $8,430.30.

Contract renewal for the county’s health officer for an annual sum of $1,000 to be used for public awareness and education.

Awarding of bid to for the Fallon/Churchill Volunteer Fire Department to acquire a Ford F-450 with a utility body in the sum of $57,631.63 from Fallon Ford-Toyota.

Resolution 289-2017 providing for the transfer of the 2017 private activity bond cap allocation to Nevada Rural Housing Authority.

Application for community support funding for the LEAD Green Leadership Summit Aug. 4-5 in the amount of $1,500.

Resolution 170-2017 certifying the combined tax rate for the levy of taxes beginning July 1, 2017, and designating the number of cents of each $100 of property tax levy for each fund within the provisions of Nevada Revised Statues Chapter 361.460.

Request for extension of time for recordation of parcel maps on Lone Tree Road for Leila Johnson pursuant to the development agreement approved in July 2010, bill 2010-E, ordinance 103 — consisting of 17 acres of non-water righted property.
