Fallon’s youth softball and baseball teams have concluded their summer season this month with the state all-star tournaments.

The Fallon Force summer softball teams recently finished the season at the state championships in Susanville. Fallon’s 14U team went undefeated in pool play and the double-elimination bracket to win the division over the Nevada Wildcats. Fallon’s 12U team, though, fell short, losing to Fernley in the consolation finals as Reno Elite ended up winning the division.

On the baseball diamond, Fallon’s 16-18 all-star team advanced to the state title game against Sparks but lost 25-2 in Reno. The 13-15 all-star team lost both games at South Lake Tahoe. Fallon’s three Cal Ripken teams that won their state tournament didn’t compete in the regional tournament last week.
