Muscle Powered is looking for volunteers to help clean litter from the paved path that parallels the north side of Highway 50 in Carson City.
The monthly Trash Mob is taking place from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, March 18.
Volunteers, who will be supplied with work gloves, trash bags and safety vests, can meet at the northwest corner of Highway 50 E. and Arrowhead Drive. To see the site on Google Map, go to https://tinyurl.com/lxmrem5.
The monthly event is a grass roots community effort coordinated by Muscle Powered volunteers to keep the walkways and bike paths around Carson City free of litter.
The one-hour Trash Mobs take place on the third Saturday of the month at locations around town.
