Jean Josephine Studer, long time Fallon resident, passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 24, 2017.
Jean was born August 9, 1929 in Poughkeepsie, New York to George and Ann Kings. In her early twenties she, with her parents moved to the Reno area, and then on to Fernley, where they started farming. Jean met and married the love of her life Fred Studer, when he was working for her father on the ranch.
After they married they moved to Imperial Valley, California, on to Idaho and in the early 60’s to Fernley and later to Fallon. They were engaged in farming, ranching and dairy cattle.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents and husband Fred.
Jean is survived by her children, Ken (Nancy) Studer, Jeanette Cagley; Ann (Bruce) Thom, Christine (Bill) Turney, Beverly Roberts; 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Burial to be at The Gardens Cemetery
