Reception for artist Mike Bond at Carson City Art Gallery

Carson City Art Gallery is holding a reception Friday for Sparks artist Mike Bond.

Bond works in oil and paints desert scenes and local Sierra Nevada and Lake Tahoe landscapes and contemporary and historical western scenes of Nevada and California. His portfolio includes human and animal portraits as well as scenes from the Great Basin National Park, Craters of the Moon National Monument, Yellowstone National Park, and Grand Teton National Park.

The reception will be from 4-7 p.m.
