ESL In-Home Program seeks language tutors in Douglas County

The ESL In-Home Program of Northern Nevada seeks tutors in Douglas County to teach basic English to adults waiting to learn the language.

The nonprofit has a waiting list of adults who want to learn but can’t attend traditional classes. They need tutors to teach on a one-on-one basis.

Volunteers are typically asked to donate an hour a week of their time. All teaching materials are provided. Experience and knowledge of a foreign language are not required.
