A Double Wedding: A double wedding occurred at the Miles residence on Stillwater Avenue Wednesday when Ralph Casey and Lola Valentine Miles and Everett J. Green and Clara Miles were united in marriage with Judge T. A. Jones tying the double knot. All of the contracting parties are well known young people in Fallon, where they have resided for several years.

First Day of Summer is a Freezer Here: June 22, officially the first day of summer, and the longest of the year, was ushered in here with frost. Not only was there frost, but in some districts it was hard enough to damage gardens, both corn and potatoes being nipped, according to reports reaching Fallon. Wind, too, has had its inning during the past week, although reports of damaged buildings have reached Fallon, many trees lost big branches.

Students From Fallon on U of N Honor Roll: Fallon was well-represented this semester at the University of Nevada’s Reno campus as 15 residents were listed on the spring semester honor roll. This is one of the most, if not the highest, number of Fallon students ever to have made the honor roll.
