Man hides in closet, gets arrested, Carson City Sheriff’s says

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.

TUESDAY

At 6:20 a.m., Alana Blakemore, 20, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance after a traffic stop at Molly Drive and East Long Street. She was also arrested on suspicion of possession of paraphernalia and held in lieu of $3,500 bail.

At 3:37 p.m., a 49-year-old chef was arrested on a warrant on suspicion of failure to appear and held in lieu of $1,710 bail.

WEDNESDAY

At 1:29 a.m., Pamela Warner, 48, was arrested on two warrants on suspicion of theft and grand larceny after deputies were called to the area of the Carson Nugget on a report of a possible intoxicated driver. She was jailed in lieu of $7,500 bail.

At 1:33 a.m., a Carson woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI 2nd alcohol after deputies were dispatched to Telegraph Street near the Nugget on a report of an intoxicated woman next to a vehicle who was vomiting. She was jailed in lieu of $2,500 bail.

At 2:45 a.m., a Genoa man was arrested on suspicion of violating a temporary protective order issued in Douglas County after he approached a woman at the Max Casino but left when she told him to stay away. Deputies later found him hiding in the bedroom closet of her home. He was jailed in lieu of $3,000 bail.
