Karen Beglin and Jill Beglin each shot outstanding rounds to lead the Carson High girls golf team in a Sierra League Tournament on Tuesday at Toiyabe Golf Course.
Carson was edged by Manogue by one stroke in the event as the Senators finished second with a 353 while the Miners finished with a 352.
In the overall Sierra League standings Carson and Manogue are now tied for first.
Karen Beglin was low score medalist with a 70 and Jill Beglin was second with a 74. Karen Beglin is first and Jill Beglin is second in the overall Sierra League individual standings.
Also for Carson, Sophia Taggert shot a 103, Sarah Wiggins fired a 106, Gabby Montes had a 107 and Kassidy Cooley added a 123.
