The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
THURSDAY
• At 9:47 p.m., Thomas Brown, 32, was arrested on South Carson Street after deputies responded to a report of a fight. The other party told deputies Brown bit him on the arm during the fight. A search of his backpack revealed drugs, needles and two pipes with traces of meth. He was arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs and paraphernalia, violation of suspended sentence conditions and battery. Bail was set at $5,500.
FRIDAY
• At 11:52 a.m., Patrick John Martinez, 35, was arrested on a felony FTA warrant out of Washoe County after reportedly attempting to run from both an NHP trooper and deputies in the area of FoodMaxx. After he was apprehended, the Washoe warrant for attempted grand larceny was discovered. He was also arrested on suspicion of resisting an officer for running away. Bail was set at $5,300.
• At 5:53 p.m., Fred Levine, 50, was arrested outside the Nolan Inn on Carson Street. After questioning, the arrest report says Levine admitted there was a restraining order against him barring entrance into the Nolan Inn office. That order had expired. The reporting party said he wanted Levine arrested on suspicion of threats and destruction of property. A search of his person revealed a meth pipe and small amount of drugs. He was arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs and paraphernalia, destruction of property, making threats and as an ex-felon failing to register. Bail was set at $4,650.
